Timor-Leste: Coffee

This photo series was part of a photo assignment from the Australian Volunteers Program.

Timor-Leste’s coffee industry survived years of war and occupation, and has thrived since independence, to produce high-quality coffee that is sought after around the world. It was great to be able to work with some of the people who farm and process the precious beans, and to show some of the pride and joy they feel in their work.
